Justin Silveira

Justin has been practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2013, teaching since 2014, and has a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Oregon State University.  At Precision, he teaches the BJJ Fundamentals class, and runs the youth program.

Justin's teaching methods come from a combination of his BJJ and academic background.  He uses his knowledge of the body to help people better understand why techniques work and how to improve them.

When it comes to the youth program, Justin works hard to build an environment where they feel welcome, have fun, and most importantly learn.  He has been coaching youth for over 3 years and has great joy in helping usher the next generation of BJJ practitioners.

Besides teaching, Justin is a highly active competitor, competiting in events such as the IBJJF American Nationals, Pan American Championships, World Championships, and also airing live around the world for matches on Submission Underground.
