Integrated Striking

This class encompasses people of all ages and skill level, geared towards having fun and building skills.

Integrated Striking (Mondays & Wednesdays) is a structured class that develops practical striking skills, self-defense techniques, cardiovascular capacity, and overall athletic ability. Students explore fundamentals from multiple martial arts, including Capoeira, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Stick Fighting, learning how to generate power, control distance, and move with efficiency.

The class incorporates warm-ups, technique drills, partner exercises, and situational sparring to reinforce proper form, timing, and strategy. Students also work on balance, coordination, agility, and cardiovascular endurance, building both physical and mental resilience.

Professor Tyrone Angolia draws on his extensive experience inside and outside the ring to provide detailed technical instruction, feedback, and guidance, creating a learning environment that emphasizes both skill development and safe, effective training. Mixed martial arts gloves and mouthguards are recommended and are available for purchase at the gym.
